Our Services at Arrowe Park
Working in partnership with the NHS Trust, we provide an outreach information and advice service at Arrowe Park Hospital. The service is based in the Eye Department and is run by hospital liaison officer Geoff Pennock and Andy James.
Our advisors offer help and advice to people visiting the eye clinic and recently diagnosed. A small resource room has examples of low vision and daily living aids.
Geoff and Andy are supported by volunteers who regularly visit wards to offer support to in-patients with sight problems. They also offer a small library of talking books, available to those staying in the hospital.
Our outreach support officer, Marie Kinsella, is also available at Arrowe Park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to provide further advice on applying for benefits and entitlement.
